Planning for recovery is integral to preparing for emergencies. In support of the NSW Recovery Plan, several guidelines and supporting documents are available to assist local councils and agencies in their recovery efforts.
The Resilient Australia Awards is a national program sponsored by the Australian Government in partnership with the states and territories and managed by the Australian Institute for Disaster Resilience (AIDR). It celebrates initiatives that build whole of community resilience to disasters and emergencies.
